RULES & REGULATIONS




  The following are the official rules and regulations for the 2010 Marco Pena Fishing
Tournament. It is the responsibility of the contestant to read, understand, and comply with the
rules. Each contestant, by his/her signature on the entry form, agrees that decisions made by the
tournament director are final.

1. Contestants must register for the tournament before the start of the contest, pre-registering
by mail, or registering Friday, June 4, 2010, or Saturday, June 5, 2010, before the start of
the tournament at Bluff's Landing Marina.

2. Legal fishing hours are Saturday, June 5, from 6 A.M. to 2 P.M.

3. Fish must be legal size according to the Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations and all fish
must be caught on rod and reel only. Trout (min. 15”), Redfish 20-28”.  No oversize redfish
allowed!
  Anglers may only weigh one (1) redfish, one (1) trout and one (1) flounder.  All measurements will be taken according to the 2009 - 2010 Texas Parks & Wildlife rules and regulations. TPWD Game Wardens will be on hand to be the weigh masters.

4. Contestants must be in line by 2 P.M. at the weigh station located at Bluff's Landing Marina.

5. Winning fish will be determined by length. In case of a tie, the winner will be decided by
the biggest girth and then weight.

PLEASE NOTE: Contestants are solely responsible for their actions and their safety, including
judgments concerning inclement weather.  Friends of Marco Pena Memorial Fishing Tournament and     the Make-A-Wish Foundation and/or its representatives will not be responsible for accidents                   of any kind, including boating, water or travel mishaps. Remember to wear sunscreen and drink              plenty of fluids to prevent heat-related problems.
